Empowering the brain's ability to heal itself, and how Attune is making it universally accessible.
Neurofeedback is a type of biofeedback that uses real-time displays of brain activity—most commonly electroencephalography (EEG)—to teach self-regulation of brain function. It is like holding a mirror up to your brain. When patients with ADHD receive real-time feedback through changing immersive environments, they can actively train themselves to achieve states of focus and calm.
Historically, patients had to go to expensive clinics, sit in a chair with messy gel electrodes on their head, and stare at basic, low-engagement computer screens. This leads to low patient engagement, lack of throughput, high dropout rates, and massive geographic barriers.
Bridging existing VR hardware with clinical-grade biometric tracking to create an engaging, highly effective, and scalable therapy.
A soft, comfortable custom strap designed for high head coverage. It attaches directly to existing commercial VR headsets, transforming widely adopted consumer tech into powerful, medical-grade diagnostic devices.
Our proprietary pipeline executes high-accuracy, real-time mental state estimation. It securely processes EEG data and integrates with immersive VR environments, requiring zero neuroscience background for clinicians to operate.
A custom library of immersive, therapeutic games engineered to maintain high patient engagement, preventing dropout and making the therapeutic process highly rewarding.
How do you use Attune's technology to improve your life?
Attach Attune's EEG strap, and then wear the system on your head. Make sure to adjust the tightness of the strap for the optimal fit and sensor contact.
Answer a short questionnaire to personalize your treatment. Then, close your eyes and rest for us to establish a baseline.
Open up your choice of game and enjoy! The treatment protocol will adjust the game according to your brain activity to encourage growth. Over multiple sessions, you will learn to regulate your focus.
Until now, the neurotechnology market has forced a severe compromise. On one end are traditional, high-end clinical systems—they are highly accurate, but massively expensive, stationary, and unscalable. On the other end are consumer-grade wellness headbands—they are affordable, but lack the sensor density and precision required for true clinical validity.
Attune captures the definitive "White Space" in the market. By engineering a proprietary medical-grade hardware strap and software translation layer that seamlessly integrates with existing commercial VR headsets, we deliver clinical efficacy at a price point that unlocks unprecedented, mass-market scalability.
Deep-tech requires rigorous validation. We are executing a phased approach to ensure clinical safety and efficacy before reaching commercial scale.
We are actively pursuing government contracts and grants, specifically SBIR Phase 1 through the HHS. This will enable rigorous pilot studies and clinical trials to definitively cement our clinical validity.
Following successful clinical trials, our objective is to secure FDA clearance through a 510(k) application as a recognized therapeutic medical device and software. Our initial commercial release will focus directly on specialized neurofeedback clinicians treating the 18-29 year old demographic with inattentive/mixed presentations of ADHD.
With established clinical footholds and proven efficacy, we will expand our platform to general therapists and psychologists. This minimizes the gap between being diagnosed with ADHD and being recommended our system, while ultimately unlocking various treatment options for a wider set of individuals managing other treatable mental health conditions.
Over the next 12 months, we will prioritize customer discovery, product research & development, and pursuing Phase 1 of our Clinical Pathway
